Well, well, well! It was bound to happen at some stage and yes it did we got rain in Europe after 3 weeks of travel after 6 capital city’s. The day wasn’t lost, kimmyV and I hired a car for the day to see the sites and old towns. We had both organised our international drivers license before we arrived in Europe just in case and lucky we did. As I hadn’t driven in Europe before let alone drive a vehicle on the left hand side of the car we managed to see the sites with ease. In and out of the car or wind down the windows for a quick photo and off to the next town. High above the clouds and we got lost a little we stumbled across this point.
420m above sea level on the old Rd, this is the old tool shed and hunt for the hard works of Hava.So awesome the views of old towns and villages, this one was a favourite of mine, real old school…
KimmyV on the wrong side of the car but thinks she still had control of the car, lol from time to time she pulled the hand brake on and was even pushing her feet on the floor like she was driving, silly girl..We decided to follow the coast line around, as there wasn’t to many Cars about which made for easy driving and navigating. Well you would have thought so! KimmyV on the google map app we should be fine turn left and follow the rd. Not quite a rd but still wide enough for a car so we went for it, awesome views of the water a pitty the photos don’t show just how clear the water is. About a km or so and a dead end with a boom gate that wouldn’t go up, fuck! KimmyV asked a local and we had to double back and had to go inland. Lucky we were on a walking path as we wouldn’t have seen or taken photos of the harbour also thank fuck it off season to could have been in a bit of trouble..
Crystal clear water and I can see why it’s such a popular destination, it would look spectacular during the summer months……
