KimmyV and I made the hike up to the Prague Catherdra/Castle area! You can enter for free but to see the whole place a ticket is needed. Beautiful Cathedral, adds up to the magnificent and beautiful place to be.
Incredible Gothic details… I love it. Windows, colors, arches, shadows, towers… What a pleasure to see them. Started to be Built in 930 finished in 1929, the St Vitus cathedral is dedicated to Saint Vitus known to cure people with abnormalities in walking (gait) and is a stunning example of Gothic architecture in Prague.
Stunning architecture reminds me of the ‘unfinished cathedral ‘ in Barcelona.
The history behind this great the building is wonderful….hundreds of years before the present building was finished. ..Amidst stupid wars all in the name of religion Fantastic place, nevertheless a great area to visit…..in fact amazing would be a better word to use.
